The Comme des Garcons Homme Plus x N1ke Foamposite One ‘Black’ delivers Rei Kawakubo’s monochrome take on the vintage hoops shoe originally released in 1997. Unveiled in Tokyo at the CDG Homme Plus Fall/Winter 2021 runway show, the sneaker features a blacked-out synthetic upper covered in wavy circular patterns. Branding elements include an embroidered mini-tick on the lateral forefoot and ‘Comme des Garcons Homme Plus’ inscribed on the heel tab. Underfoot, Penny Hardaway’s 1 Cent logo decorates the herringbone-traction rubber outsole.
